Explore White Springs area

We decided  today we would go explore our area we have been living in for 2 months.  We did our morning 3 mile walk and took Dozer with us. Dozer is a riot, he pulls,sniffs tugs and is determined to go his way till we give him water and turn around for home. He then becomes a different dog slow walker not ready to go home at all. Buddy is like  ok fella watch me  this is how a walk should be"slow,steady  and quiet"  we might see a deer. Once home,I filled his(Dozer's) pool with cool clean water  and he laid in it . Watered,fed and pool ok,  I guess you can leave now, was  the look I got.  So, off I went to get ready for our adventure.

Wanted to find some lemongrass plants for our next adventure to help with the noseeum's. No one in this area seems to have heard of lemongrass.
We drove the back roads from White Springs over to Live Oak then  more back roads over to Lake City and decided to go check out Falling Creek Falls. It was a cute little county park.No water in the creek bed , but we could see where the falls would have been.

On up the road  was this quaint country church. I had to stop and check it out. The old church and cemetary  had a aurora around it.

Home again feet up and resting from the long ride.
Dinner in the oven  and beginning to give off some enticing aroma's. Lemon peppered chicken with potatoes  for a side tonight.
