April 16,2011

We have had a exciting week.
Had my stapels removed,Tuesday. Wednesday we went to  Ft. McCoy to get mail, then to Anthony  to get truck tittle and then to Ocala to take care of personal stuff.
Stopped in at Verizon in Gainesville  and bought a modem  for the internet. Back to Big Shoals  with all of our new purchases.
We stopped at a RV store and bought a few supplies  we needed.
made a quick dinner  and then off  for short walk around the park which Buddy enjoys.

Friday  we saw heavy smoke. Walked down to the river  and someone was burning the other side, just didn't let us know about it.
Above are a few pictures  of where we are.  Loving it.

Day 2 in camper

We had the pleasure of having our 2 delightful grands( Bryan and Nicholas)spend the night.
Up early this morning  to a  pancake breakfast and chocolate milk.
Gil took care of buddy, while I took the boys down to the heated pool. They played in the water for over 2 hours. I dragged them out and brought them up to the camper for lunch and a much needed nap.
After our nap  we had to go back to the pool,oa where  the boys had a great time again.
Bryan  found a friend to play with  and Nick  wanted to be bigger so he could play to.
Mason still sick with fever and no fluid intake all day. Hope fully blood work shows the reason for him being so miserable.

Tonight we had a simple  dinner( sandwiches), both of us are tired and ready for a early night with good rest.
Off to Big Shoals State Park tomorrow.
Will post as we get internet service.

First Night Out

First night out in the camper, we stayed in a local RV park.
Got pulled into our site and starting setting up camp. Things was going pretty good. Hookup's was easy.
We discovered  10 ft of sewer hose  was not enough hose at all.

Of course, the grace full self I am, I had to slip on the top step of camper and sliced my right ankle about a inch long  and fairly deep. What a mess, I ruined a great pair of leather sandals  from all the blood. Probably needed to have stitches, altho  I just pressured and butterflied the cut.
